Biography

Jonathan Rosenberg is a New York criminal defense lawyer and appellate advocate with offices in downtown Brooklyn and Midtown Manhattan. A devoted believer in the divinity of American law, Jonathan advocates for clients facing government force in both the criminal and civil courts.

The Rosenberg Law Firm is a law firm that renders professional legal services for profit, albeit united by a common vision of upholding the United States Constitution and the American way of life. We believe in the American system of law — that the government, and those to whom it delegates power, should take a backseat to individual liberty — that people are ultimately good, created in God’s image, and that the rights of the accused must be honored in practice and process — not just words recited before a tribunal.

Jonathan handles client matters in both the state and federal courts, from misdemeanors to major felonies, from the time of accusation and arrest, to the time of dismissal, negotiation, or trial.

While Jonathan is one lawyer, he leads a team of attorneys and staff that adhere to a common vision: that individuals have the right to retain the services of counsel in their fight for maximum liberty against all forms of force. We believe in the miracle of advocacy — that no case is unwinnable — and that no individual who wishes to hire counsel shall be deprived of that right in a free society, governed by a free people, unburdened by excessive force or restraint.
